HVAC: Air Handler
With the majority of Heat Pump systems, your inside unit is most likely an air handler. Air handlers primarily consist of a coil, which the refrigerant goes through and transfers heat to the air or removes the heat from the air, and a blower, which circulates the air throughout the house. Air Handlers also have available a secondary heat which automatically comes on during defrosts and also operates as an emergency heat if there is heat pump failure or during colder outdoor temperatures.
At AbleAir-1, we are sure to properly size every heat pump system we install and also have a variety of different Air Handlers to fit every application, including variable speed.
